Recently PETA(people for the ethical treatment of animals) India has asked about making a decision to switch to producing vegan milk.
So friends today we talk about vegan milk.
What is vegan milk?
Vegan milk is primarily made of a few varieties that always changing like almond milk, soya milk, etc.
If we talk about the nutrition of vegan milk then it depending upon what you buy. Plant milk also used to make ice cream, plant cream, cheese, yogurt, etc.
Plant milk is used in western countries as a substitute for milk but in other parts of the world, it consumed traditionally.
Different types of vegan milk
Nuts- almond, brazil, hazelnut, walnut, cashew, etc.
grains- oat, rice, wheat, maize, millet, rye, etc
seeds- sesame seed, hemp seed, hemp seed, pumpkin seed, chia seed, etc

which milk is good normal milk or plant milk?
Ok, we decide ourselves after checking the nutritional value. So let's compare the nutritional value of the fortified cow, soy, almond, oat milk with a 250ml quantity which approx 1 cup.
Cow milk(low fat)-: In 1 cup of milk contains 100calories and 8 grams of protein with 30% calcium, 25% vitamin D, and 8% potassium. It also contains 13gram of sugar in the form of lactose which is naturally present in cow milk.
Soy milk (unsweetened)-: Soy milk contains 110 calories, 8gram protein. Soy milk is cholesterol-free with low in saturated fat.
Almond Milk(Unsweetened)-: Almond milk contains just 30 calories per cup with just 1 g of protein. it is fortified with vitamin A, D, E, and calcium. It is lactose-free but if someone has allergies to nuts then he/she should avoid it.
Oat Milk(Unsweetened)-: It contains approx 4g protein per cup with higher in carbohydrates and fiber than comparing to some other milk. Commercial oat milk has higher in calcium, vitamin A and D and potassium. It is low in fat and vitamin B
The benefit of vegan milk
If you are allergic to lactose then vegan milk is the best choice because it is lactose-free milk.
it is best in taste with less fat content.
Almond milk has powerful antioxidants which help in the fight against cancer and heart disease.
Cashew & oat milk help fight against diabetes.
