On September 2020 pubg mobile India was banned from playstore along with various Chinese apps but as far as pubg mobile is concerned it's parent company is karfton which is a Korean company, so form then onwards they're trying to launch the game specifically in India by making an Indian version. In LinkedIn There are various posts that they're are recruiting employees, so from this  fans are speculating that there is a high chance of the game coming back. Although there is no confirmation from the Indian Government regarding these matters.

In many other countries there are special versions of Pubg mobile and some cases the server is different too. Few weeks back A very popular gaming creator Dynamo gaming gave a hint while streaming that the game will be launched very shortly that news spread like rapid fire among the fans and they're expecting to see the game on playstore by the 1st week of May 2021.
