Hello and welcome back to everyone who has been reading my blogs and i hope you all are doing good and are safe and healthy. So for today i am gonna blog about a very important topic that is building a resume and Cv. So lately i attended a training and placement session and i got alot of insights regarding this. Also there were lot of other tips given in the session which i thought i should blog about. So basically it was about hiw to appear in an interview. So everything will be covered blog by blog. Starting with resume/Cv building because that's what is first seen by the employer before they see you. So 50% of the selection is done if you have a well groomed Resume ir a cv. Now i m using these two terms together but actually what paper goes correctly in your corporate job interview.

Let's know the difference between the two and what all details are included in the same.

Resume is basically used for job based interviews. Where all your personal, educational and work experience is included.

Whereas the Cv has mostly an academic use.  Cv is the acronym of curriculum vitae. If you have to apply to a university or a committee than cv is the document they ask for. The cv is representation of your academics and co- curriculum.

So this is the basic difference between the two things.

Now you might have a Doubt on what all in included in Cv and in Resume.

Headers of Resume: ( Educational)

  • Name.
  • Contact
  • Personal summary
  • Educational qualification
  • Additional educational information
  • Work experience
  • Co curriculum activities.
  • Additional information.

Headers of Resume:. ( Work experience)

  • Name
  • Contact
  • Personal summary
  • Work experience
  • Achievements
  • Educational qualification
  • Co- curriculum activities
  • Additional information

Now here i have listed two different headers list for resume because you need to be careful while building a resume weather it is academic again or work.

Headers for Cv.

  • Name
  • Contact
  • Educational qualification
  • Additional educational qualification
  • Academic projects
  • Relevant work experience
  • Other experience
  • Co-curriculum activities
  • Additional information

Here is the list of headers you must include in you resume and cv. I will create a part two blog for this headers detail.

That's it guys thanks for staying up till the end and will be back with part two stay tuned…

Till then Stay safe and healthy.

To be continued
