Laugh, Talk, Memories In Interview Waiting Hall

Hello everyone, I am back again with my recent experience of attending an interview on our college campus, and I am so happy because so many people from my class were eligible to attend this interview.
Read till the end and I can say that you will feel as if you were one among us.

At first, we reached our main campus by different transport but gathered together at the main entrance. There started our fun and laughter, and luckily we all came under the same batch, and our batch number was 24.

It had been nine hours since we entered our campus, and till they informed us to assemble in the interview panel, we had a lot of fun during those nine hours.

In the morning, a few of us attended another interview’s first round, and by 11:30 am we had some tea and snacks together, then went to our waiting hall and waited so long to be called to the interview panel.

Then we shared our lunch, enjoyed some music, remembered past memories of trips together and past interview experiences.

We lost our patience and so left the waiting hall. We went around the campus for a walk, had another tea, and discussed the cars parked in the parking slot near the tea shop (canteen).

We clicked a few pictures with blazers before entering the interview panel. I was excited to share my thoughts as it was a group discussion kind of round. They asked us to choose any topic on our own…

I think that was the problem — it’s difficult to choose any one topic on our own when there are so many things we want to share with others…

I tried to motivate people but I failed. I forgot the suitable word and so ended my speech by myself. I felt really bad, wondering why I couldn’t come up with that word at the right time. I realized that I had been confused from the beginning itself — I was confused with my topics. I had planned three topics, but suddenly when they asked me to open up, I started without any proper plan and I totally messed up.

But it’s fine, because I came to know that I need more practice to open up my thoughts without framing them inside my mind.

Also, I am happy that my friends did really well, but unfortunately we were not shortlisted for the next round.

Still, we all enjoyed the day really well and learnt that we need to work a lot to be shortlisted.

Then we left our interview panel, and it was raining outside. I shared my feedback with my friends that they had done really well and we need a little more practice to shine. We all went to the tea shop again since it was raining. We waited there for a while, and when we came out of our campus, we went to have some snacks like mushroom dry gravy, pani-puri, milk-bun, etc.

Then I caught my bus and returned back home.

Thank you, friends.
