In the next few hours we are going to celebrate our 75th Independence Day. So happy Independence Day to everyone in advance. Thousands have sacrificed their life to bring independence this day. So this day is always special.
Whenever during Independence day or Republic day our tricolour flag is hoisted the visual of it waiving against the blue sky and the National Anthem playing in the background gives a feeling of pride and glory which no other feeling can bring. Even on August 7th when Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal in Tokya Olympics the sound of National Anthem playing in the stadium and the whole world applauding made us more proud an Indian.
But in return are We Making our motherland proud of us?Sadly we are leaving no stone unturned to make our beatiful country turn into a garbage.
People after eating paan or guthka don't hesitate to spit anywhere they like. They spit on the road, on the wall of an office building, on bills pasted on wall and literally every where thus staining every where they without even thinking twice about the offense they are doing.
Kids, when they go out with their parents, often like to buy chocolates and chips but after having those they just throw the packets here and there. Even their parents don't bother to teach their kids that they are supposed to put the waste into a dustbin. These plastic waste reaches the waterbodies only to suffocate the aquatic lives dwelling inside. Instead of just ignoring what the little kid is doing, if the parents take out time to teach the kids the proper way to dispose the waste, this would not only make the country a cleaner place , but would also shape the kid into a better human being.
Moreover , we should remember it is not the duty of the sweepers only to clean the country. Being the responsible citizens that we are, its our duty too to put any waste we produce into the dustbin . Also if we find some plastic or other waste on road and other public places, we should not hesitate to dispose it properly ourself. It would not make us any less human.
With this view in mind the Government of India has also launched several cleanliness programs like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to spread the awareness among all.
We can keep our country clean if we start to keep our surrounding clean. If all of us take the responsibility unanimously to make our locality clean the whole country will be cleaned. Foreign tourists when visit often complains about the mess we create every where. If we are able to keep the country clean, it will have a great impact on them, and this will boost the tourism Industry as well.
Time has come to take necessary steps and bring the lessons on importance of cleanliness from book into practice.
