The Art Of Living

For the past couple of days, I have been working on this blog. What should be the idea of this blog, what points should it contain and what the reader will benefit from this blog were the questions which kept me committed to this article.

So I will be sharing a few of the tips that personally help me to stay happy and positive all the time.

Happy Thoughts- Always embrace your happy moments and not so happy moments equally because that's when the balance is made. You cannot anticipate everything to go by the way to except.

Never Rest- Put the precious time you have into productive things that can help you gain something out of it. Trust me the effects of this element are magical. Discover your interests and hobbies. Do what makes you happy and keeps you engage. It makes you feel accomplished literally. Learn to enjoy your own company.

One Step A Time-  Don't bombard yourself with too many tasks at a time. Do one job at a moment. We often think that performing 2-3 tasks simultaneously will save us time but in reality, it has the opposite effect. Unfortunately, we are not computers to process tons of information at a time.  Multitaskers are the least productive people according to research.

Speak To Yourself- It is always nicer when you speak to yourself than others because you are the only person who knows you better than anyone does. You have no fear of being judged and you are the one who knows your strengths and shortcomings. Take 10 minutes out of your day and talk to yourself it may be about anything. Anything at all. Learn to enjoy your own company.

Spend Some Time Alone- Take time off your mobile phone and look at what's around you. Observe things. And if you don't feel like doing anything and just simply don't. Monitor your thoughts. Pay attention to what your mind needs to tell you. Let your brain rest. It deserves the break for the amount of pressure you cause to it. 

Things to be thankful for Write down all the happy things. Write all the things you are grateful for. All the elements that are keeping you sane. Write everything that great about this life. In short review yourself.

The workout-  I cannot stress enough this point. I, a person who used to hate even the thought of working out now feels left out if even for a day I mess with my workout cycle. Workout and meditation are the two things that have got to be on your to-do list. Meditation is a way to reach the state of mindfulness which filters the information that reaches our brain from the outside world. The benefits of these two are beyond description. It can be Cardio, Zumba, Yoga or anything that suits you. Merely 15 minutes of workout can bring a transformation into your daily routine.

 These little things add up to a long and happy life. Worrying about things that aren't In our control is unworthy to be taken care of. So why not live in the moment instead of upsetting over what's next. Living in the present we are preparing ourselves for the future and that is what called 'The Art of Living.'
