Rajinikanth, often known as Superstar Rajinikanth, is one of the most well-known and financially successful actors in Indian cinema. The main sources of Rajinikanth's widespread appeal and success are his mannerisms and his unique line delivery. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest honor, for his contribution to Indian cinema. Rajinikanth had careers in screenwriting, film production, and playback singing in addition to performing. Private Life In a Marathi family in the Indian state of Karnataka, Rajinikanth was born as Shivaji Rao Gaekwad. His ancestors hail from the Tamil Nadu village of NachiKuppam in the Krishnagiri district. He was the fourth child of police constable Ramojirao Gaekwad and Jijabai Gaekwad.

Career:

With the aid of his friend and fellow bus driver Raj Bahadur, he enrolled in the Madras Film Institute in 1973 and successfully finished a foundational acting course. He received assistance from his vice principal, A. Prabhakaran, at the film institute. Rajinikanth has appeared in 190 films in all, including Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and English. With Andha Kanoon, Rajinikanth entered Bollywood for the first time, but he did not have the same impact as he did in the south. Even so, he made a few Hindi movies appearances, including Chaalbaaz starring Sridevi, Uttar Dakshan, Geraftaar, and Hum. He made his Hollywood debut in 1988 with the film Bloodstone, which was released in India to much fanfare at the time.

Rajinikanth made his film debut as a cancer patient in Apoorva Raagangal in 1975. He was initially cast in supporting roles in Tamil cinema. Rajinikanth frequently refers to K. Balachander, who directed the movie, as his "guru" or "mentor". Rajinikanth appeared in Katha Sangama, a Puttanna Kanagal-directed Kannada film, the next year. Even though Rajinikanth refers to K. Balachander as his mentor or guru, it was director S. P. Muthuraman who completely transformed Rajinikanth's image.

There are many people in the world who are successful today but went through a trying time in their early years. Rajinikanth is one such figure who is at the height of his fame. Despite being a Tamil actor, he is not only well-known in Tamil Nadu. His status as Tamil Nadu's "superstar" is now widely praised. His fan base is so large that a song called "Lungi Dance" was performed in the movie "Chennai Express" in his honor. Although his current situation seems unthinkable, he had a difficult upbringing.

He received 26 crores of rupees for his performance in Sivaji (2007), which is equivalent to 7.8 million dollars in 2017. This made him the highest-paid Asian actor at the moment, surpassing Jackie Chan. While working in different regional Indian cinema industries, Rajinikanth also made appearances in movies from other countries, such as the 1988 American picture Bloodstone. In addition to a Filmfare Award for Best Tamil Actor, four Best Actor Awards, and two Best Actor Special Awards, Rajinikanth took home six Tamil Nadu Film Awards in 2018. In addition to acting, he also worked as a producer and a scriptwriter. In addition to his work as a filmmaker, he is a spiritualist, philanthropist, and political force in the Dravidian region.
