1. Hydration
It's very important to keep your skin as well as your body hydrated. You can start your day by having a glass of lukewarm water. This activates your metabolism and flushes out the toxins. Throughout the day, have at least 10 glasses of water. You can also include fruits like watermelon, muskmelon, grapes, Papaya, tomato, in your diet. These fruits have more water content and thus will help to keep your skin hydrated. In addition to this, always add moisturizer in your daily skin care routine, even if you don't have dry skin. Your skin needs nourishment, therefore, a light weight moisturizer will do the work. Don't forget to apply sunscreen as well.
2. Vitamins
As mentioned above, your skin needs nourishment, and vitamins can be a great source of that. So the four most important vitamins for healthy and glowing skin are vitamins C, D, E, and K. You can include food items in your diet that will fulfill the daily requirements of the above vitamins. For instance, citrus fruits like oranges as well as strawberries are a great source of vitamins C. Similarly, salmon and egg yolk are great source of vitamin D whereas almonds and peanuts are a great source of vitamin E. Also, green leafy vegetables are rich in vitamin K. Ultimately, this will prevent skin damage and helps in skin rejuvination.
3.Skin Care Routine
If you want your skin to be healthy and glowing, you need to add skin care regime in your daily routine. Most people ignore skin care routine, may be because it might be a little time consuming. But, you need to understand the importance of skin care and not take it lightly. First of all, whenever you apply makeup, your first step should be moisturize. Don't ever do make up on dry skin. Otherwise, your make up will crack up and will make your skin look cakey. Secondly, always remove your makeup at the end of the day, before going to bed. Scrubbing, exfoliating your skin should be done twice or thrice a week, depending upon the skin type. Don't use harsh products on your skin, because it may cause an allergic reaction towards your skin. Choose your skin care products very carefully.
Don't take too much hot showers. Instead, you can take face steam twice or the ice a week. Apply face mask or mask sheets to remove dirt and oil from your face.
Last and the most important thing, wash your face thoroughly with cold water at least two times a day. This will clear away the pollution and dirt from your skin.
