The Side-effects Of Being A K-drama Lover!

“Annyeonghaseyo!!!”

Oops Sorry!!!

Hello readers!!!

This blog is simply based on providing knowledge about the side-effects which we, the viewers, face after watching k-dramas.

We are normal beings busy in creating fake scenarios in our head after watching a romantic k-drama or will be found struggling with a psycho villain, mentally, while sitting at any random corner of our house.

But the real struggle is actually face by our family, mostly Mumma as whenever she asks, “Kaam samjh aaya?”, instead of getting a normal reply, “hann!”, she hears weird, non-sense words from her daughter from an unknown language i.e. “Arasso!" , “De!”(lmao!).

"Papa" turns into “Appa”, “Didi” turns into “Unnie” , and crush turns into "Oppa!" (Lol!).

The feeling is way more different and full of excitement of repeating our favourite lines from the dramas (tho' we hardly understand and remember any dialogue) like me for no reason tried to copy the style of Lee Min Ho for saying, "Disgusting Sh-it!" to each and every thing which came infront of my eyes (I was chanting this line while preparing for my exams, calling each subject with it, lmao!).

The sudden urges which we get to eat Ramen 🍜  make our heart to act like a Crescendo!

The craze of imagining ourselves getting styled in a korean outfit gives tragic gooseb-umps for a while!

The sudden play of clips from all the dramas which we have watched while random mention of Han river, Seoul, Namsan tower, and Korea make our mind startled.

It's true that we love to watch k-dramas as they are kinda like refreshments for us. They provide relaxation at a different level to us though we also can't decline the fact that the way through which we are becoming “addicted” to dramas is not good. Entertainment is a necessary thing but it should be till a specific limit and no one should cross it(referring to the dramas). We can't neglect our duties and important works for them (study comes first in my case!).

Everything have two sides, one good and the other bad, and addiction of anything is always bad.

These are actually my true thoughts. Though, I am a k-drama lover and can't control myself for watching them in my free time but also after first looking for my other higher priorities. One should try to maintain the balance between all. It will be suitable for everyone in every situation ✌️.

Kam-sa-ham-ni-da!
