When he left, Sunanda was terrified and sunanda asked Maniyan "who was he?".Maniyan said that "he is Kamman  who comes to this village and No one knows where he is coming from and where he is going". Sunanda said to Gopan that  I am so scared we can go from here. Maniyan replied "why are you scared?Don't mind him he is a crazy man".

Gopan told  sunanda" to stay here for few days". Then they walked forward and sunanda also walked reluctantly with them .Then they walked forward in a short distance and they came in front of an dilapidated house. That was a large house with lots of trees and forest.There were no houses near that dilapidated house. It is a house that was so scared to look and that was a lonely place.There was a kavu(a garden or grove, dense wood where Kaali and the serpent- God Naga are worshipped) near the house. Sunanda was so scared while seeing this .sunanda stood for a moment in the arms of Gopan who was moving forward .Gopan waved his hand and said," Are You Coming?why are you just thinking about the word of kamman?". Since there was no other way, sunanda walked along and they reached in front of the house.The owner of house were lying in a chair in front of the veranda. "Krishnangunne" Maniyan called softly and slowly opened his eyes and asked "what is it". "They came from far away and were looking for a place to stay for a few days". They were bought here because they had nowhere else to go. They should be allowed to stay here for few days .He closed his eyes and leaned back by said " ok , stay in that room at the far north".After leaving them at home , Maniyan returned and directly went to the Ramu Chettan's Shop. After reaching the shop, Maniyan asked Ramu chettan "give him a sarbath(lemon juice)". Maniyan is totally upset. Ramu chettan asked while making sarbath"why are so upset Maniyan?". Maniyan replied that " The people who came from Bombay had stayed in devarmana".Ramu chettan asked " is that your problem?". No,Maniyan said"On the way, we had seen kamman he said that you were going to death".Ramu chettan scared for a while and the glass in his hand fell down.Ramu chettan asked nervously "Oh God ! Kamman?.......
