In India, the word Guru has been used for teacher since ancient times, the literal meaning of Guru is the whole, that is, the one who illuminates our path to move towards achieving the fullness of life.  Education in the 21st century is going through many changes, but the role of human interaction and two-way dialogue is becoming more and more relevant with the passage of time.

That is, the role of the teacher is like that of a coach who prepares his children for some tough competition sport like Olympics.  But it also knows that not everyone has to go to the same destination in this game.  There are many of these who would make good viewers.  Among them are those who will become writers.  Among them are children who will make their name bright in the world of music.  Among them are those children who will accept the role of becoming a teacher and fulfilling the dreams of the rest of the children.  That is, a teacher is always engaged with dedication in the role of building human beings who go beyond the door of possibilities,

 Indian culture, Guru was considered as Parabrahma.  Guru's generous character, knowledge and conduct earned him the highest respect in the society.  Guru is called Acharya, called teacher called guide.  When the circumstances changed, by the time of the British period and the post-independence period, the teacher became a salaried person, who gives only 5 to 6 hours for livelihood.  He lacks self-knowledge, self-confidence and patience.  He strikes like laborers, VIDYADAN which was the best charity, today, instead of giving education, buying education, purchasing certificates, purchasing teachers, where all things are being bought and sold, teachers are not far behind.  He is selling and making a deal of knowledge, the question is, what direction will knowledge of the marketable goods give to the society?  Some teachers are being given money and getting maximum marks, the National Education Policy has considered the teacher as the pivot of the education system.  In the race of globalization, the identity of our language, culture, education and religion is getting hurt, signs of change are visible in them, old values ​​are changing, new values ​​are appearing.  In such a situation, the need of the hour is that the teacher has to change his role.  The dying education system has to be revived.  A simple, happy-prosperous lifestyle has to be adopted.  To be prosperous means ideological upliftment, one has to tighten himself on the test of objectivity, free thinking, tolerance and ideological scientificity.  Students also have to bring true quality in life.  Leaving copying, one has to work with wisdom.  The influence of a teacher is lifelong.  Teachers should behave in such a way that their influence is not affected.  As a teacher, so will be the disciple and he will be the leader of tomorrow's India.  So teachers should recognize their role.  The influence of the teacher on the students in the society should be such that, there should be growth of healthy scientific attitude in the students and social superstitions are eradicated.
