hey, friends today I came with another special Item every person wants to enjoy their evening with special food right so let's start with our chicken 65.
Chicken 65 is a spicy, deep-fried chicken dish originating from Hotel Buhari, Chennai, India, as an entrée, or quick snack. The flavor of the dish can be attributed to red chilies, but the exact set of ingredients for the recipe can vary.
Chicken 65, is a tasty, yummy delicious recipe. A perfect street-style food makes a good side dish, snack, or starter. Goes well as a side dish with some hot steaming Dal rice / Sambar or Rasam.
Ingredients
Chicken: 1/2 a Kg
Salt: 1/2 a Teaspoon'
Chili Powder: 1 Teaspoon
Coriander Powder: 1/4 Teaspoon
Garam Masala: 1/4 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder: 1/2 a Teaspoon
Ginger Garlic Paste: 1/2 a Teaspoon
Curd: 2 Tablespoons
White Flour: 2 Tablespoons
Corn Flour: 2 Tablespoons ( Rice Flour can also be used in case if Corn Flour is not available)
Oil: as needed for deep frying
Green Chilies: 5 to 6 slit
Curry Leaves: 2 to 3 Reeds
Method of Preparation:
Take 1/2 a Kg Chicken with bones cut into medium-sized pieces.
Will marinate it, add 1/2 a Tsp of Salt or as needed, 1 Tsp of Chili Powder, 1/2 a Tsp of Coriander Powder, 1/4 Tsp of Cumin Powder, 1/4 Tsp of Garam Masala.
Add 1/2 a Tsp of Turmeric Powder and Ginger Garlic Paste each, Add 2 Tbsp of Curd mix them all and marinate it for 1/2 an hour. The more you marinate the tastier it is.
Better to marinate it in the fridge to enhance the taste and flavor. Add Lemon Juice if you wish to.
After an hour's time add 2 Tbsp of White Flour and Corn Flour each, if Corn Flour is not available add Rice Flour and mix them all well.
The coating should be of moderate consistency and coat the pieces well. Add a pinch of Food color, it's optional.
Heat Oil in a pan, add the pieces, and fry them on medium flame until they are 60 to 70 % cooked/fried.
Now, again, deep fry them all on high flame to make them crispy and crunchy.
Fry some 5 to 6 Green Chilies and 2 to 3 Reeds of Curry Leaves to it.
Tasty Chicken 65 is ready, served hot as an evening snack or a side with Rice.
