Hello dear readers, welcome to a new blog. I hope you all are doing good. I am not writing consistently but whenever any recipe comes to my mind, I just start writing a new blog. Food should be shared….right? As you have read in the title, this is a recipe blog. To be honest, I just like to eat pav bhaji very much. But sometimes we don't want to put too much efforts (because of less time or laziness) and need something which can satisfy us quickly. The solution for my pav bhaji craving is pav bhaji toast. We need to boil potatoes for this recipe but believe me the later efforts are quite less. The preparation time about 15-20 minutes and the cooking time: 5-10 minutes .So here the recipe for pav bhaji toast.
The required ingredients to make the toast are:
Boiled potatoes 3-4 medium sized
Onions ⅓rd cup (chopped)
Tomatoes ⅓rd cup (chopped) Capsicum ⅓rd cup (chopped)
Chopped green chillies- 2-3
Garlic paste 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Pav bhaji masala 1 tablespoom
Salt to taste
Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
Fresh coriander 1 tablespoon (chopped)
Bread slices as required
Butter to toast
Method to make:
Firstly, take the boiled potatoes and grate them. Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix them well, your pav bhaji filling is ready. Yes it is ready. Now take a bread slice and evenly apply the pav bhaji filling. Set a tawa on medium heat, put some butter on the tawa. Do not do kanjoosi in adding butter afterall it is pav bhaji toast. Add the filling applied bread slice and toast it until its crisp and golden brown in colour, flip and cook the toast briefly until the toast gets some colour. Your pav bhaji toast is ready, cut in squares or triangles and serve hot with ketchup, green chutney or any dip of your choice. You can also put some chopped onion for an extra crunch. If you like cheese you can sprinkle that on the toast. Enjoy your self prepared delicious food.
