Colouring Your Hair..... Consider These Points
Hello dear readers
I hope you all are doing great. Hair colouring is a trend at present. Sometimes people get their hair coloured to hide white hair and sometimes to change their look. There are some things that should be considered before getting a new colour. Do you know about them? Don't worry, I am going to share some points which you should keep in mind to take good care of your hair.
- Don't compromise with quality- Some people keep on changing their hair colour. They usually think that it is of no use to invest too much money as they soon will change it but this can be harmful for hair. Cheap hair colour can damage hair so always use a good quality hair colour and if possible try to use herbal colour to minimise the damage on your hair.
- Patch test- You can ask for a patch test at the salon. It means instead of getting all the hair coloured, first check it on a small portion of your hair. It will help you in checking if the selected colour is upto your expectations or not.
- Hair play an important role in the overall look of a person so always consider face, length of hair and profession before selecting a colour for your hair. Sometimes we get fascinated by some funky colours but later on it can be a bit awkward for us so do not forget to consider it too.
- If you are colouring hair for fashion (not to hide the grey hair) then do not colour the roots of hair. It results in lesser damage to the hair. If the purpose of hair-dying is grey coverage then it would be applied from the roots. In such cases, special shampoo, conditioner are available, use them.
- If you are habitual of washing your hair everyday then the hair colour would fade soon so wash your with a gap of 2-3 days atleast. Keep your hair covered if you are going in sunlight.
These were some things that are important and needed to be considered if you are thinking of getting a new hair colour. You can also read about some natural home remedies to get rid of rough and frizzy hair.
