I hope you all are doing fine. This is my another recipe blog for you all. We all have tasted coconut and its water. Who does not know the benefits of coconut? It is a wonderful source of several nutrients. Coconut has high amount of fiber so it helps in the process of digestion and it boosts immune system too. If you love coconut then you must try this super healthy and delicious coconut drink. It is a perfect healthy drink to treat your taste buds.
The ingredients that you need to make this drink are-
Coconut water- two hundred and fifty mL, coconut cream- one cup, one tablespoon of sugar (you can use brown sugar or coconut sugar), ice cubes- near about one bowl.
Method to make coconut cream (malai)- First of all peel off the coconut and cut it into small pieces. Now put this into a mixer with one cup of water and make a fine and smooth paste of coconut. Now take a muslin or khadi cloth and place it in a large bowl. Transfer the prepared paste in this bowl. Now hold all the four corners of the cloth and press it so that the coconut milk will be separated. Put this milk in the refrigerator overnight.
Next day, the water and the cream would be seperated. Take out the cream with the help of a spoon. If you want, you can use the cream which we get from the raw coconut or the simplest way is to grind a fine paste of coconut and use it as cream.
Method to make the drink-
Take a jar and add coconut cream, coconut water and sugar in the jar. Grind it into a fine paste and then add some ice cubes in it. Now grind it again. Our coconut drink is ready. If you do not like much intake of calories then you can skip sugar, it is totally upto you.
To serve it, take a glass and add some ice cubes and the prepared coconut drink. To garnish it, you can use some coconut cream. Enjoy your home made tasty and healthy drink. To Know the benefits of green tea.
