Hello everyone I hope you all are doing well. I am writing this blog after a very long time. It is almost four months since I have published any blogs. Maybe I was not motivated enough but today I thought to write something then I could not find any topic. Thinking about a topic to write about, I suddenly got the idea of sharing how this platform has changed in a year. I got to know about Candlemonk last year and my very first blog was published on 2nd of May, 2021. It is more than a year now that I am connected to all of you. I am feeling happy while writing this article. I hope to get it published today itself. I think I have talked enough about myself so now let us discuss the major changes that this website has undergone and are obviously witnessed by me-
Liking blogs without reading- Earlier, we could like the blog even without reading it. This change was not liked by many bloggers earlier and I was one of them but now I think it was an important step as many people just press the like button to get likes on their blogs.
No scratch cards- I personally love scratch cards and especially Candlemonk's scratch cards because they rarely say Tough luck, try again tomorrow. Most of the time, you get coins. It can be one or two and when you get a gold card, it is a while different feeling of achievement. A gold card is always welcomed by a wide smile. Earlier we used to get weekly read bonus only.
Pasting copied content- It was not like that we could not paste the words or links that we have copied but whenever you do so, the time taken to review your blog by the Candlemonk team was increased. I did not know about this when I was new here and it accounts for the time (2-3 days) it took in publishing my first blog. When I got to know about this then I started to write the content directly on the website and it gets automatically saved in your profile. Now, the review time is same whether you use paste option or not.
If you find it worth reading then do like the blog, share your feedback in the comment section below.
Thank you and happy reading fellow bloggers.
