Goa is the smallest state in India covering 1,429 square miles .Goa is also known as the party district .goa is one of the India's wealthiest state because of the tourist .One third of the goa is covered by forest .Goa lies in the western Ghats of India.  peoples only talk about the beaches and lands about goa but goa is  almost surrounded with forest. 

  Goa is the dream land of many of the bachelors because of the bars ,yes there are nearly 7,000 bars are in  goa. It is visited by thousands of sun-seeking tourists each year. The reason behind the 7,000 bars is because of the cheaper rate of alcohol . The happening place of goa is North goa where the party's are organized in large numbers. where as most of the local goa peoples live in the south goa which is quite calm. The language spoken in goa is KONKANI. But except locals most of them speaks hindi , marathi and english because most of the tourist speaks these languages. The state has the highest per capita income in India. Goa is full of motorcycle taxies and riders. The Portugal ruled goa for almost 450 years. In 1524 , the Portuguese captain vasco da gama landed in goa .More portugal arrived in 1510 looking to gain control of the spice root from the east and two years later goa become a Portuguese colony. Goa celebrates two independence days because when India got independence  in 1947 but Portuguese refused to give the control of goa later they give up in 1961 so they celebrate two independence days.  Goa has one of the India's largest water falls. The capital of goa is panjim and it is the old Portuguese Quarters

                                  Swim in the dudhsagar waterfalls which is the second highest waterfall in India. where Goa meets karnataka. Then go around the old goa which is known as the Rome of East . Old goa is one of the richest and most splendid city in the whole Asia . old goa has lots of church to visit .  The best season to visit goa is jan-feb mid which is the most happening times to visit goa. 

    Goa is also famous for the adventure sports ,yes there are plenty of adventure sports to do . The coast of the staying , hotels, food, bike rental, adventure sports , Etc depends upon which month you are going because price varies month to month
