Hey bloggers! Today I am going to talk about milk which is a 🥛 great energetic drink in itself. Milk is a fine blend of all the nutrients and is secreted by the animals to serve as the wholesome food for their suckling young ones. It contains proteins , fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals besides so many immunomodulators .
Milk is generally sweet inn taste and metabolic effectis unctuous , increases vitality, dhatus and pacifies vata and pitta, it's aphrodisiac, increase kapha and is heavy and cool
Cow milk is restorative and regenerative. It is suitable for those affected with weakness after injury. It promotes intelligence, improves strength , is galactagogue and laxative. It relieves fatigue , palpitation, giddiness, intoxication, inauspiciousness, dyspnoea, cough, thirst, hunger, chronic fever, dysuria, bleeding disorders.
Buffalo's milk is suitable for those affected with bulimia and insomnia. It is extremely heavy and cool in nature.
Goats milk is light as it drinks less water , is always on the move and consumes plants and leaves having acrid and bitter taste. It cures emaciation, fever, asthma, bleeding disorders and diarrhoea.
Camels milk is slightly of less fat content, hot, salty, is carminative and light. It is suitable in the disease due to vitiation of vata and kapha, abdominal distension, parasitic infestation , edema , ascites, haemorrhoids.
Breast milk cures eye diseases of vatika, paittika, raktaja, and traumatic varieties when used in retention of medicine in the eyes, irrigation of medicine in the eyes and errhines. The milk of sheep is not stomachic it's hot control vatika diseases but belching and asthma and vitiates pitta and kapha.
Elephants milk provides strength to the body . Milk of single hoofed animals is extremely hot and light. It pacifies vata which is vitiated in external path of diseases. It is slightly sour, salty in taste and cause inertia.
Unboiled milk is secretive and Is heavy, but when properly boiled, has opposite properties. Condensed milk is much more heavy. Milk that is freshly drawn resembles the properties of divine elixir.
