I learn to game. I am the only female in my group of friends, they are 5 boys in my group. We love to game every free time we get. I have they thought me a lot of games to play.
I little background about me, I was a spoiled kid at home because I used to play games since B/W phone which that had the snake game, later started playing ball bouncing game which happened to come in the color phones. My family will all the time could for doing this but however I continued.
While I was in college and as PUBG was not officially released in India we started playing FreeFire. The first match I played and killed someone gave me an amazing experience and I loved it. So I continued playing with/out my friends. I reached Gold. A few days later PUBG was released in India, downloaded, and started playing every time. I and my friends use to stay back in college until 6 pm or go home early to play. We loved doing it. I am a female gamer and a part of the credit goes to my friends as well because they never considered me to be a girl and always treated me like a boy and encouraged that I play well.
After a few days one of my friends introduced me to a game called AOV it was an amazing game where there were many characters with their special powers, we had to pick one of them and go 1:1 or 5:5. It was a hell of a lot of fun. I use to always be the archer which was great to shoot at the distance and kill the enemies all the time. I was becoming an expert at it.
While I had my friends know me as a good gamer but my parents always treated it like a taboo. Why can't a girl be a gamer? What is wrong with that? We have girls/women landing on the moon and one earth we are struggling to be gamers. Does it hurt a boy's ego if a girl is a gamer and better than him? A girl can be a better gamer than a boy. What is wrong with that.
And wishing aunts and uncles to mind their own son's and daughter's business and not mine. To be honest as being a girl gamers we are awesome. Maybe we could teach some to your kids too. Did you know how much a gamer is getting paid that is some crazy deal of amount? What can't gaming be treated as a professional profession and not just a wait of time?
Not everyone can be good at aiming and shooting headshots some of us are really talented and skilled than others. Parents need to understand that gaming is porn and it is just a skill that might come in handy in the future. There are games that help to stats and then defeat the enemy which improves my brain activity while I will not actually use it in real life because we are no longer living in the world of wars and battles.
Concluding that gaming is not porn, you can play too to just kill time or make it a profession. Give it a try before you could judge. As a girl gamer, it helps me come to of peer, family, and social pressure. I show my function and anger while shooting a person. Yes, games do have cons like everything else in this world but it is not a wrong thing.
