When passionate employees become quiet, it usually sends a signal that the work environment has become dysfunctional.

Here is my experience, I passed out my college in the year 2019 with a job in Wipro. I was very excited and passionate to start working. I competed my onboarding, my office location was 26kms away form home but I still use to travel using BMTC(Bangalore Government Bus), In morning it use to take me about 2 hours to reach office and when I had to return home it took me about 3-4 hours because of the traffic on the way. I still did it for 6 months because I loved the role, I was an IoT developer. Travelling late and no rest got me depressed and the pay was very less.

So I quit it and join as Technical Engineer in Concentix for VMWare the job was great and then lockdown happened. I got boring and depressing after few months. 

I use to love teaching especially coding/programming and I use to conduct seminars in my college and school days. That's when an amazing opportunity came to me to teaching coding to young school kids. I took the job and I loved it in the beginning. Get promoted from a Coding Instructor to a Mentor parameters where quite easy. I was very passionate and the kids loved me. I had a performance of 100% punctuality and 5/5 rating. 

Usually promotions happens at the last week of the month. I joined on July 2020 and by the end of November 2020 I was eligible for promotion and I was so eagerly waiting for the mail that when I got very disappointed because they had stopped the promotion process because they were not hiring any more teachers. It was so dishearten and form then I starting losing interest here. I lost of interest to teach and slowly started my depression by February 2021 I was much depressed and I ad lost interest to teach and started cancelling some classes because nothing is motivating me here. That promotion was very much excepted and I was 100% eligible but because of the organization not hiring they didn't promote me. I was very dishearten. I was giving my 100% to the organization but now I give only 20% or so. 

I love teaching kids coding to see that happiness on their faces was an Heaven experience. I am still continuing here such for this little happiness and nothing more. I might not stay here for a long time. 

Working environment is primary to be considered by the organization to give to good experience if they need the best from us.  We need to work hand in hand for things to work in sync and harmony. Hope this can reach out to some extend.
