Men Can Cry Too- Break The Stigma!

Hey guys,

How are you all? I hope you all are doing great.

Today, I'll be writing about a subject about which most of us are hesitant to discuss. That is to say, Men Can Cry Too.

Any gender who feels and understands emotions, like any other woman is capable of expressing them as well. Boys, like girls are free to express their feelings without the fear of being criticised.

Our parents used to tell our male siblings that they are strong and that they should not weep in difficult times because it shows how weak they are. we didn't have the ability to grasp the principles of equality when we were young, so we had to accept whatever was taught to us, even if it was incorrect.

And growing up and being born in 21st century taught me that all humans on the planet have the same set of feeling. it's possible that the intensity with which we feel differs, but they are unmistakably real feelings. In a society where women are now afforded the same chances as men, we, as responsible citizens must likewise break this stigma.

These are some of the ways in which we may help to eliminate this stigma:

1.Approach your make sibling/colleague/ classmate/ batchmate/ friend/ lover/ anyone with the same aim with which you would approach a lady.

2. Assure them that they can rely on you and that you are willing to give a sympathetic ear anytime they need it.

3. Don't make them feel terrible about sobbing in front of you or sharing their true feelings with you.

4. Do not make light of them at any moment. Simply give them your support.

5. If you are a mother/ or soon to be becoming one, nurture your kid with the right kind of values.

There was time, when I also told my brother that he is strong, he shouldn't cry over such petty things, because that was the instant reaction that anyone could have (because that's what we are taught). And when I realised I shouldn't have said that, I immediately called my brother and told him that it's okay for men/boys to cry and boys like girls can do all the work that they do. That's when I broke the stigma, when did you break one or wish to break one? Tell me the comments below.

If you also feel the same, kindly drop in a thumbs up in the comments section below, would love to hear your thoughts too.

And Normalize for Men To CRY.

Thank you for making it till the end. I appreciate that.
