YES IT'S KAMALHASAN IS BACK !!!!!.FULLY ENGAGED MOVIE AFTER 5 YEARS.
A movie called Vikram was written, directed, and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. In addition to Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Gayathrie Shankar, and other significant supporting actors, Ulaganayagan stars Vijay Sethupathi, Kamal Haasan, and Fahadh Faasil in the key roles. Suriya, an actor, also made a brief appearance. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for the movie, and Girish Gangadharan handled the photography.
It is commonly known that Lokesh Kanagaraj is a tremendous fan of Kamal Haasan and all his films have been strongly inspired by Kamal flicks. What does such a fanboy do when given the chance to work as his idol's director? Vikram is where the solution is.
Recently, several movies starring top-tier actors have been produced by directors who are also the actors'
The man is in full form as Agent Vikram/Karnan in the second half, though, and all Kamal fans are treated to whistle-worthy moments one after another. Similar to Kaithi, there is a solid emotional foundation that is followed by amazing, elegant action sequences that leave you in awe. The sole distinction is that while Vikram has guns and firearms, Kaithi features brawls.
Not only that, but with Vikram, Lokesh developed his own film universe, which has the potential to be extended thanks to Suriya (who appears in a cameo as Rolex). With three acting giants up front in the form of Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh, and the Ulaganayagan himself, the performances of all the leads seem to be in friendly competition with one another. With just the proper amount of close-ups, cameraman Girish Gangadharan captures Kamal's expressions, and editor Philomin Raj is equally deserving of appreciation for that. Anbariv Master's stunt choreography is reminiscent of their work in KGF and Beast, but there are ingenious deviations from those choreographies that you'll notice as you watch the movie.
Overall, the music and cinematography just enhance our enjoyment of the movie since the writing and performances carry it for the most part. More significantly, Lokesh has shown that Tamil film is capable of developing a cinematic universe that is comparable to Hollywood's. Vikram is a great entertainer who keeps you interested, so it's worth seeing more than once.
Unlike Kamal Haasan Unlike Fahad Fazil Unlike Vijay Sethupathi The true hero is not Surya Lokesh.
utilised the cast to its full potential... lighted up the theatre experience
The biggest task Lokesh Kanagaraj faced as a director was not just creating a few hilarious moments for Kamal Hassan fans, but also creating a groundbreaking pure action movie with three actors known for their outstanding performances. His packing completely lives up to expectations, providing a great time for all the guys. The plot of Vikram is essentially The Batman in Chennai. A special operations team is charged with locating a serial killer who is currently at large. That's only one way to express it, but Vikram is much more than that. It also has a parent seeking justice for the loss of his kid, a significant drug bust, gangsters, special agents, and renegade police officers. - Lokesh's aptitude for creating universes!
An entirely Loki Sambhavam.
With the help of three outstanding actors, Loki produced a high-octane action thriller that was extremely well handled by the multi-starrer film. Fafa was the true hero of the first half, which really surprised me. The first story takes an investigative approach, and it took time to develop. Kamal received less screen time in the opening act. The second half was entirely made up of action scenes and Aandavar's stuff.
RATING : 4.00 OUT OF ***5**
