So print on demand is a business model where you as a creator make designs (copyright free-means no copying from the internet or anywhere!)now these designs are placed on products of your choice(coffee mugs,pillows,towels,t-shirts etc) and a mock-up will be generated by the website to show how your design will be on that product and that will be shown to your customers to.you will also have an option to open a e-store inside the website and bring traffic(customers to it)once your customer places an order the manufacturer prints the design on the product and delivers it on your store/brand name to your customer.
your designs have to be unique and you have to drive traffic to your e-store by either telling it to your closed circle or spreading a word on social media pages!(like public Facebook groups)That's it your part is over.. once you have uploaded your design in any of the website below you will have so many product options to choose from.place your design properly within the bleed and make sure your design pixel and size of it is according to the product you choose.I get so many questions from people that they were not able to place their design other than a T-shirt.
But it is not like that you can use the same design on all of the products but design pixels and size of it s going to change for every product.Let me tell you in simple words..Is a coffee mug and a sweat shirt is of same size?..No, right? Then how will your small design for coffee mug be fitting on that big shirt?..Most of the print on demand sites recommends high quality images to get it printed clearly.Imagine how hard it will be for your customer to get a pixelated T-shirt for $35?
So from your end make sure you give out the best design and good quality image on all the products you choose!..From manufacturers side they take up the printing process only when some one orders from your store so you don't have to maintain an Inventory.
