The quote was written by kushwant singh, the author of the book “train to pakistan” which is totally about the incidents that took place during partition.

And what does partition has to do now?? Let me explain, in the 21st century, after 75 years of independence, people still are having religion and caste differences. Even my own parents always tell me to keep a distance from muslims and Christians. Soo I just want you to know what the great religion has brought during the partition.

It brought a ghost train with hundreds and hundreds of dead bodies soaked in blood from a 3 months baby to 65 years old women and men. Thousands of women sexually harassed in the public places right infront of the eyes of their husbands and parents, Thousands of men being shot. Lakhs of lives died in hunger and pain. Almost 73 years and still the enmity sustains taking thousands of lives of soldiers. And all the mistake they have done is that they belong to other religion.

Some brutal incidents have been described in the book which will leave you in vain. No religion says to kill people belonging to other religion. Religion is supposed to bring spiritual enlightenment. The lack of understanding the term “religion” and “unity” has become the biggest problem. It's high time people should understand that every religion has it's own uniqueness and no religion is lesser than the other. The world needs some kindness and gratitude to restore peace.

Not only in India, many parts of the world are suffering from the same issue. While every religion says God has created us while we are destroying ourselves in the name of god and religion. 

Hating people just because of their religion and caste makes no sense in this modern world but still some rural places persists in  India where such things happens. Believe in god, believe in your inner energy, see the god in your mother,brother,sister and every human being. Believe in your religion, practice your religion but donot hate the other. Let the things like religion and caste donot control us and donot separate us.

The world would not change overnight but the change begins with you. You should be the torch bearer for a better society where all tha violence comes to an end and peace restores.
