Do you remember first time driving or riding a vehicle, you were probably somewhere 16-17. Your driving instructor or your Dad was teaching you all the possible ways to move your vehicle without getting stalled and others in trouble.
As we know the fuel prices are shooting up drastically and in this situation driving or riding out makes you think 10 times. Now, few years later you probably sometimes feel like you could learn some more tricks to make a better driving experience. I can help you with that;
Here are some important tricks to make your driving safer and more satisfying. do you want to drive like a pro then read it to end. Make sure to wear seat belt or helmet while driving
1.Take a proper driving courses from experienced driver and do follow what that person is doing while driving to refresh your memory.
2. Maintain your car engine by frequently changing oil, filters and spark plugs.
3. Make minimum use of clutch. Only apply clutch while shifting gears and while applying brakes, other wise don't rest you foot in clutch. It will not only burn clutch plate as well as it will make the engine to work more then the actual need.
4. Shift gears under 2000-2500 RPM so that engine keeps in its calm state where it will deliver best efficiency.
5. Try to avoid air condition in city traffic to not provide a heavy load on engine while crawling. You can roll down windows at that time to avoid sweating.
6. Try to maintain a set speed in a straight, as at set speed the acceleration of the vehicle will constant and required less fuel than fluctuating in speed and changing gears.
7. Also try to brake as less as possible, leave the accelerator paddle quite early and make the vehicle decelerate on its own. It will also make your brake pads more long lasting as well.
8. Don't rev your engine in idle and apply gears in accurate speeds like 1st gear is just for picking up and its speed is 0-10 km/h (minimum) and then 2nd gear speed from 10 - 20 km/h and then 3rd gear from 20 - 40 km/h and then similar with 4th gear 40 - 55 km/h and 5th gear 60 km/h to so on.
9. Don't knock the engine, it happens when you are in lower speed with a higher gear, it will also effects the engine by giving too much load.
10. Maintain proper air pressure in the tires as recommended in your tires manual.
