Hi friends, thanks for the support in the previous blogs. I am again back with another review of the trailer. Cricket is not only a sport, it is a emotion of millions of people. Yes, after winning the 1983 world cup, it became very popular in India and most of the boys atleast would have liked to become a cricketer. This desire of becoming a cricketer would have been with them atleast for few days.

Cricket is making players earn lots and lots of money but cricket has ruined the career of lot of people has well. There are a lot of cricketers who play the sport very well. But, they would not have got opportunity to represent the nation in the colours. There may be a lot of reasons, the major reason is politics, but we are not going to talk about that here.

The second major reason is sacrificing the dream of a cricketer for the sake of their family. The family poverty will demand a talented cricketer to take up some job, it will be very hard for a person to continue sports once they get into a job. MS Dhoni is one such inspiration to millions of people, after becoming Train ticket examiner, he still had thirst for the game and continued playing the game and now a world famous hero. Still he had some age so that he had acheived in cricket.

But, is there any cricketer who debuted to big stage of cricket IPL at the age of 40, Pravin Tambe is the one. In some cases, if the people crosses the age of 25, they will be demanded to continue their career in some other field. If they become 30, there wont be any chance to touch the bat and ball, but after facing a lot of hardships, Pravin Tambe debuts at the age of 40, It needs a lot of passion and love for the sport. We should appreciate Rajasthan Royals for finding out the talent and accepting the player even at the age of 40.

The trailer looks very inspiring, it is stating that age is just a number, if we have really a determination, we can become anything at any age. There are a lot of inspiring people from other fields as well, but cricket is one thing that unites nation, even though we belong to different caste or religion. This movie will be streaming on disney plus hotstar from 1st April, eager to watch the movie.

This week is an exception, as director Jayprad Desai traces the life and times of Pravin Tambe who kept slogging away in the local division leagues for years in the hope that one day he would make it to the Mumbai Ranji squad. Here is the story of an underdog who doesn’t necessarily want to be the top dog by the climax. Ultimately, he catches the eye of Rahul Dravid, who perhaps carries a Tambe inside him, and is picked for the Indian Premier League. By that time Tambe has crossed 40 but, as one of the selectors says, his battery is fully charged. As Tambe hits the stumps and makes it to the headlines, the adjective quickly spins from under-achiever to late bloomer. More than the action on the ground, how the man from Mulund keeps fueling his modest dream makes for a riveting watch. The moments with his family, friends, and coach create an enchanting tapestry of emotions that make you believe in honesty, hard work, and a dash of luck. Screenwriter Kiran Yadnyopavit generates situations that feel light but penetrate the conscience.
