Hello friends, thanks for reading the previous blogs. Today I have come up with another movie review. After a long time, yesterday I got some time to watch a movie and so I thought that this movie is definitely worth reviewing. Not sure, if this kind of story has come in other languages, but this is definitely one of the different attempts in Tamil Film industry. The main story of the movie is Irfan Ahmed, is being rejected in the interview stating the religion as a reason. At one stage, he is being framed as a terrorist due to situations and circumstances, how he will overcome the situation and prove his innocence is the rest of the story.

Vishnu Vishal who has acted some of the good scripts is back with another good script. He has lived the life of a true Indian Muslim. There are a lot of places in India, where the place see Muslims as terrorists. Many people don't understand that terrorism doesn't have any religions. There can be innocent people in one religion along with terrorist in other religion. There are 3 heroines played by Raiza, Reba and Manjima they have done their part very well. Gautam Vasudev Menon, who has impressed us with his directorial ventures, impressed us in this movie with the subtle performance as an actor. He almost carried the movie from beginning till the End.

The songs are less and it was moving with the story, it express the feelings of an innocent guy getting caught in the name of terrorism. There was a guy acting a Prime Minister, resemble Modiji to certain extent. The cinematography, editing and the background music adds more flavour to the movie. The movie did not seem to lag anywhere and it was very engaging till the last minute.

This movie was directed by Manu Anand. This movie went on to become a sleeper hit in the box office. Now a days, there are a lot of religious and communal clashes happening all over the country, if there is a person from a religion who is a terrorist from a particular region, there are always people from the same religion who will be ready to sacrifice their life for sake of the people and their country. If few persons are terrorist in a particular religion, it doesn't mean that all are the same, please stop stereotyping people in the name of caste and religion.

Thanks for reading….

Irfan Ahmed (Vishnu Vishal) is leading a peaceful life with his mother, a policewoman. He works in a lab as a chemical engineer. Meanwhile, NIA, having Ajay Dewan (Gautham Vasudev Menon) as the National Security Advisor, is in search of the most wanted terrorist, Abu Bakkar Abdullah. The team receives a tip about the criminal and suspects Irfan is the terrorist. They arrest Irfan and start interrogation after his involvement in a massive bomb blast. Is Irfan the most wanted terrorist? What happened next? To know everything, you need to watch FIR on the big screens. FIR lacks the maturity of Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam. The lack of nuance in properly establishing the islamophobia, misunderstanding suffered by different communities and politics behind intensifying polarization have been left out from the movie for the convenience of the narration FIR ’s strength and weakness are somehow the same thing: its speed. With multiple cities like Chennai, Bangalore and Kochi being showcased within a few minutes, this racy script might be a little tough to follow for people who are used to gentler, slower films. Various characters get introduced, and before you can register them, the film moves on to another character, another location. But the speed keeps the viewer interested, which could well work in its favour in the theatres, which are finding it hard to draw audiences who are used to consuming content in the comfort of their homes on OTT platforms. Vishnu Vishal has certainly grown as an actor in recent times. Post the thrilling Ratsasan , which was a wonderful theatrical experience in 2018, he seems to have become a lot more serious about the craft of cinema. As Irfan, he delivers a sincere performance; one that successfully conveys the flutter between ambition and anguish.
