Hi Friends, hope you all are doing good. Thanks for the support you guys provide, which helps me to post some of my thoughts inmidst of my busy schedule. I am trying to throw my view on a business that is expecting to become monopoly soon. Hope, you guys like it.

Let me begin, First of all, I am not that good at this business, but in my perspective, there were 6 to 7 competitors in this business. Everyone had different type of customers. For examples, few were strong in certain regions, few were good in finding customers who were public sector employees and so on. There would have been some rankings based on the profits they made. But, they made their presence felt in the market.

So, all the 6 or 7 of them were good enough to run the business. There entered a 8th competitor, whose main aim was to capture the market of these 6 or 7 competitors, so they began to provide offers which most of them could not even think of. so, these small players had to leave the business as their market was capture by this giant player by providing offers. 

Only, 2 or 3 competitors withstood the pressure and that too, they were forced to give equivalent offers. Among the three, two had to join and collaborate to sustain in the market. After capturing the market and knowing that there are only 3 players overall. This Giant began to increase the price, the other 2 competitors were thankful and increased the price in accordance with the increase made by this giant.

It was running smoothly, so when the Giant again made a step and increased the price, these 2 competitors brought their costs to same level. But, the competitors were suffering huge losses, since they made  a lot of offers previously and they were finding it difficult to recover from the losses.

So, they did not have any other option and now they had to increase their costs. But, the giant was very careful this time, they dont have a plan to increase their cost currently, though 2 and 3 players increase their cost to recover from losses, they might lose their customers further more and there is always a chance for this big giant to become a single player, doesn't it look like a monopoly game. 

So, if this Giant becomes huge in market and becomes a monopoly in this field, then they can control the prices and they can raise as they wish. It will be nightmare for others to enter the market and capture back.
