A distant hello to all the amazing creatures out there. Lemme first introduce myself. My name is Udita and I am a 12th standard student. My hobby is writing poems, creating stories and try different things. I am an ordinary person with a blessed heart. A sunshine mixed with a little hurricanes😜. I can change your pessimists thoughts to optimistic ones. I love spreading joy and happiness wherever I go. The best part of me is I live in my own imaginative world where hurt, sadness, grief are not a part(just kidding😛). I am unapologetically myself.

 You all might have guessed the topic by the title. NO? Okay so here's a poem written by me. Hope you will enjoy. Happy reading (^_^)

Why Him?

He never tried to flirt with me, nor he showed off.

Never did he use pickup lines which I am proud of.

He always got my back, no matter what.

He never tried to hurt me with a mean joke.

I fell for him unexpectedly.

Though suppressing my feelings periodically.

Controlling my emotions for many others,

But this time he might be the one.

The one whom I always wanted.

The truth I always want to be confronted.

I know we are not yet together .

So, will it be right to call him mine forever?

It helps me in penning down my thoughts and emotions which I usually do not express verbally. It is also a challenging task when it comes to picking right words for the poem. There is also a saying by one of the prominent poets, Robert Frost which goes like “I have never started a poem whose end I knew. Writing a poem is discovering.” It is so so true.
