The love of a mother is the most pure love. Many children in this world do not have parents  tthey Are orphans but when good hearted families adopt them, adopted children get parents love  Aspirited children are as dear to the parents as natural children. In village there once lived a women named Lakshmi  she lived all along. She had no children and her husband had passed away many years ago. She was very lonely and sad. One day she work up due to the laughter of children. It was the morning of Diwali. All her neighbourd were in a joyous mood. The children were playing under the big penpal tree in the middle of the village. She cleaned her house and sat watching at the children play, she felt sad  she Wisrd she had children of her own. Suddenly she had an idea. She took some ochre, lime and turmeric powder and made a paste using some water. Lakshmi drew and painted picture of a  boy And a girl on the left and right wall of her hut  . She smiled and happily named the boy Golu and the girl peeta. Those beautiful drawing of children made her happy. She decided to make some laddoos for children. Every child in the village would have ladies for Diwali. So would these two children too. As it became dark lakshmi lit two diyas and placed two laddoos on banana leaf in front of her door. The drawings of golu and peeta made her happy and she smiled. But as the night approached she again felt lonely. She did not like eating alone. Lakshmi slipped her dinner and went to sleep. She lay on her bed for something and soon was fast asleep. God saw lakshmi and her longing for children. Then something wonderful hapoend. The light from the lamps fell on the picture ofgolu and peeta. They came to life and jumped out of the wall. They saw the laddoos and ate them. The laddoos were delicious and they wanted to eat some more. They walked inside the hut and found three more laddoos in the kitchen. They were about to eat them when Bertha noticed lakshmi sleeping in a corner. Golu and peeta were overjoyed to find mothers love Amma they said together Now we are here and will stay with you. From that day lakshmi never felt lonely. Her home was filled with the laughter of the children.
