Are you fed up by watching the same old movies and tv series? Well, I was in my mid-teens. I searched for various shows and movies that can change my gruesome life. Then this show caught my eye. I never once regretted starting this extremely motivating anime.

The full metal alchemist: Brotherhood is an anime adaption of a successfully running manga. The earlier testament of this anime, the full metal alchemist, is not a fully adaptation of the manga. The stories start the same but they go differently towards the end. 

The story of this anime is simple: two brothers who performed a forbidden alchemy process in order to bring back their dead mother. In the process, the younger brother Alphonse lost his body and the elder brother Edward lost his arm and a leg. But with his excellency in alchemy, Edward bound the soul of his brother to an armor. The journey they take to bring their bodies back and hard choices they make in the process is the story of this anime. That is the story in a nutshell. It is a rather simple story, right? Well, not quite. 

The antagonist, who they call the father makes this anime rather interesting with his hunger for power and intention to become god. He creates seven most-powerful homunculi by stripping off his seven deadly sins(well that's another anime for another day). Using these homunculi and some corrupt military men, he controls the entire nation. Very little did the people of the country know about the wretched plan of the father. 

The characterisation of each and every minor character reflects the genius of the creator.The emotional scenes of this anime are for most the best emotions I ever saw in an anime and trust me I saw a lot. The one character which you will definitely fall in love is the character of Roy Mustang. With his intentions to become the fuhrer powered by his flame alchemy, he is the most loved character and an extraordinary strategist. The strategy built by the duo of Mustang and Hawkeye is unbeatable.

All in all this is an eye feast for anime lovers as it combines best elements like comedy, action, fantasy, emotion.The deeper you dig into the anime the interesting it gets and trust me on this. I started the anime because I was bored of normal movies. Then I binge-watched this anime in 3 days. You can't blame me for doing so! I strongly recommend you guys to give it a go.
