I was really curious and excited to see the ads of White Hat Jr. where in they claim to give opportunity to teacher to earn 50k per month for teaching coding. Its looks very lucrative and appealing at first instance to see this ads and anyone easily fall for this kind of ads. I wanted to tell my experience with White Hat Jr. which claim anyone can teach coding without prior experience of coding.
First thing is no one can start earning immediately 50k per month with this kind of online learning platform. For first three months you will have to give numerous demo classes and in case students enroll, they become your paid students and you start getting paid depending of no. of demo classes no. of paid classes. For first three months there is a minimum guarantee pay but its very less.
After going through rigorous recruitment process (atleast 3 rounds of interviews) you will be assigned a mentor after clearing the final interview. The major drawback of this platform is that you will have to convince the parents after demo classes to take the paid class. This is the most annoying thing which they ask to do. I am teacher, I am not salesperson who will force parents to enroll their kid.
I simply wasted around 3 months in this White Hat Jr. Its neither a life changing opportunity for the kids nor for the teacher. Getting advertised by big celebreality and making false claim on media will not help, content wise you should be relevant to achieve success.
In the name of certification Whitehat Jr. Provide self certified certificates which is not affiliated to any university. Save your pockets to get a big hole by ignoring this kinds of TV ads.
Don't get into instant gratification and don't put immense pressure on your kid. We Indians are already very intelligent that's why we get opportunity in other countries like USA, UK. Our education system is really well organized and better explained which is lacking in most of the countries. Learning apps like White Hat jr. can create phycological issue.
10 year old kid should play and learn things as per capacity and bottom-line is every literate person gets job as per their caliber and interest. This kind of learning apps should not be promoted in social media which can deprive the innocent kid to build good memories of childhood. Its better to be Chintu rather than a techie at the age of 10..
