Their was a person name Robin who once sold his library to the emperor and in exchange of that he got handsome amount of money which in case converted to today's exchange would be of 100 crores so he bought a scarlet robe and the main reason behind selling his library is because he was going through rough financial phase and you all will surprise to know that he was writer of enclopedia so when emperor get to know about his condition, the emperor started empathising with him and the emperor was also  book lover due to this she purchased whole library of Robin. Robin couldn't resist that money becuase he had planned to marry his daughter but couldn't able do it earlier due to financial issue now not only he could marry her daughter but he arranged such a magnificent arrangement that from small worker to the upper position everyone was invited. After all this one day Robin was looking his dear itoms and in that he found that his robe was the extraordinary among all the luxury things he possessed. He also written that there is no such possession which is equivalent to that robe and his robe is at utmost beauty as compared to other artifacts and all of a sudden Robin felt the urge to upgrade his other possessions, he replaced his old mattress with the luxury one. he decorated his house with expensive and exotic items. He purchased a new big mirror by replacing his small mirror. he didn't stopped their he replaced his old chair with the leather one and this how one purchase led to another purchase and this is not uncommon you will be surprised to know that it is called Detroit effect where you feel the urge to buy one thing and thjs led to purchase of another items. This Detroit effect is a spiral web where one purchase led to another purchase. You will see this pattern in day today life, if you ever went to shopping with your wife then purchase of dress would lead to purchase of matching shoes and matching earrings with the dress. suppose you bought a sofa, then suddenly you will feel the urge of changing the design of whole living room. if you buy a toy for your kid then you will end up buying all the other accessories come with that toy. This habbit of buying continues in feedback loop.
