Vibha devi (window) age 30 with her two sons amit and sumit were living in jamshedpur along with her brother in law (kailash pati Singh) . She was weak and having lean physique. She lost her husband as her husband was suffering from chronic kidney failure and she was all alone taking care of her sons. She was very spiritual and a sincere devotee of God. Every morning she used to wake up and perform daily rituals and Pooja and after that she used to prepare breakfast for her two sons so as to make them ready for school. She has no income source except 2 shops from where she was getting rent and she could barely managing her household expenses, school fees, food, clothes etc. She was also suffering from a painful desease due to that she was in constant pain and suffering, still she has not lost any hope from life. She was strong and confident women so she always stood firm against any injustice that was happening to her by her in-laws. One day her inlaw kailash pati threatened her if she does not sign on property than she has to go through consequences but she was tolerating on her own without discussing any things to her parents due to this brother in law (kailash pati Singh) took advantage of the situation and murdered her brutally.
Case was also filled against the culprits kailash and his wife along with brother in laws but they got bail in 3 years and found not guilty as the case was compromised between two parties by taking 6 lakh rs against the education of 2 minor son of bibhadevi. Now after 16 years of struggle, sons of bibha devi have started legal case against kailash pati Singh and they are facing problems but they are very hopeful to get justice for her mother very soon. I really don't get how law system of India works. A women was murdered brutally but the culprit got bail just because the two parties compromised outside, this is so shameful to humanity. I believe in our law system and I hope sons of bibhadevi will get justice so because they have already suffered alot. Justice must prevail. Women's should raise their voice against domestic violence so as to avoid the murder of another vibha devi.
I am doing my bit so as get justice to bibhadevi I want all of you to do something for her.
