The Story Of Great Buddha Almost Destroyed Himself??

As he was young he realized what he is striving for? what is that i am wandering the entire country going from school to school learning this learning that what is it that i am looking for then he realized this is really nothing this life is all, all i have to do is just take away the barriers that are not allowing me to do this. when he realized that everything is within him he has nowhere to search he sat there and he sat there with determination either i must see the ultimate nature of mine just now or i will sit here and die, i will not open my eyes till i know this. He had not eaten for many months properly actually he spent four years as samana where eating is totally prohibited. people gathered around he had gathered i think 5 deciples, these guys thought he is real as buddha has no eaten for so many months they saw buddha in some state or exuberant state and they could see the light on his face, then they were waiting for him to open his eyes so that buddha can give some of his teachings but he opened his eyes looked at his deciples and smiled said cook some food, cook something let's eat as we are wasting time by fasting lets eat something he said again but the deciples thought he might  have lost it, they worked with him for 5 to 7 years when he had but torture and but when he got englihtened then buddha disciples left him what an irony!!! There are many such episodes in his life, when he walked upon a river bank after he has become a buddha and he went and sat down under the tree, tree not because the tree is the best place to sit under you know ants can get u that was the only real estate of those time. there are no buildings everywhere so tree is a good place a pleasant place to sit under rather than sitting under harsh sun you sit under a tree. an astrologer who is having a great efficiency in his trade saw foot prints of gautam buddha and then he saw this is the foot print of an emporer. Gautam buddha is great inspiration for many of us. He used to eat only one time a day. what a charismatic man he was!!!!
