Racism has been in India since very long Infact every another country is facing through this problem, as i am living in india so i will talk about india. we must stop attacking the people from northeast india.
“kaalu, kaalaa, mota, chinese, chinki, gendaa, bhaisaa, bhalu, kaliya” these are few words which we have heard and used for mocking others. We think it is a funny word and use it in a casual way by saying “he he kaaley, oye motey, aee patley” This is not a joke, this is racism. we should not be talking this things as joke but these things are found in everyone because we have been taught that black is equal to bad. you all must have heard a song played for childrens as"nani teri morni ko mor le gye baaki 2 bachaa tha kaaley chor le gye “ or” Raat ko aaya kaalaa chor lala ji ki ghar ki oor" here why thieves are always marked as black and their is also a famous saying “buri najar wale tera mu kaalaa” in this Bollywood has also played a major role. our films, TV, cartoons for childrens also consist of full of racism. Amith Bachchan's famous song “jiski biwi moti uska bhi bada naam hai bistar p leta do gaddey ka kya kaam hai " Theme song of motu & patlu is filled with racism.
“ Hum kaale hai toh kya hua dilwale hai, dhoop m nikla na kro roop ki raani ” Nawazuddin siddiqui has mentioned in one of his interviews that during his struggling period he was refused by saying that he is so black, we have to focus him by putting so much light on him.
whenever we listen or see someone using such words, we should not remain silent, we must stop them because if we are silent that means we are acceping that things. “silence communicates the passive acceptance” we must educate people surrounding us we must not use such words beacuse they don't know it is a serious issue and due to this sentiments of many get hurted. I want to say this loudly to one who are facing such issues because no body is going to take stand for you.
