3 Reasons Why Old Age Homes Are Increasing In India?? πŸ˜’

Their children have left no option for them besides going to old age home 🏑. Where else would they go???

According to my, this is a rising concern in India and we Indians are forgetting our culture and morals. In India where senior citizens/grandparents are treated with so much care and respect. It's very shameful that old age homes are increasing at an alarming rate.

β€œ Your parents showed you the world and in return, you showed them the old age home…………”

Whenever I pass by an old age near my society that always makes me think of the ugly side of our society.                      According to my the main reasons for increasing old age homes are as follows-

  Ego clashes

The rising tension/ego clashes between mother in law and daughter in law. We are becoming insensitive and patience less day by day. Parents are marrying their son to get support from daughter in law but it's opposite instead of becoming support system to them they are the one who acts like a villain. Due to the generation gap, their thinking doesn't match with each other and this leads to clashes between mother in law and daughter in law. Nowadays many daughter's in-laws deny accepting their husband's parents and so they force their husband to live separately. As a newlywed bride, they take care of her husband's parents but as the day passes she starts hating her in-laws due to ego clashes and start behaving biased between her parents and inlaws. I am not saying that there is no fault from the inlaw side. This must be resolved silently between the family members to avoid future discrepancies, quarrel or fights.

Failure in Realisation of duty

Some time we as a son /daughter forget our duties towards our parents. We are so engrossed in our personal life that we have no time for our πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ parents and we start assuming that our parents are interfering with our privacy and life and so they tell their parents that they cannot stay together anymore.

Materialism and attitude problem

We are becoming more and more materialistic and our affection and love towards our parents are changing. Patience also plays a vital role in maintaining harmony and balance in any relationship.

It's my request to everyone, please πŸ™ don't force your parents to this level. Don't prove them wrong, their teachings, our culture, civilization. everyone has to face this harsh reality so behave responsible &  rational.

Thank you don't forget to follow, like and comment πŸ™

The mushrooming of family units particularly in metropolitan India, has prompted consistently expanding number of advanced age homes.
