Imagine this the Facebook Me has more than 1000 friends . He has the best possible photo of himself as the profile pic . The best possible cover photo in the background.

He is generous , kind , knowledgeable , humble and polite as seen from his bio . He has a beautiful wife and a wonderful family as seen in his profile. He has praiseworthy educational background and now working in the best possible job .

He plays tennis, badminton, snooker , cricket , football just name the game . Also he's fond of chess , carom and cards . Occasionally he plays Guitar too and is a wonderful photographer . He's profile is full of pictures he visited across the country and abroad.

He's well read with opinion on almost any matter. He's profile mentions the movies and TV series he's fond of . He has the perfect house , the perfect home and the perfect life . He's perfect. Isn't he?

But tell me really , Is that the real ME? Am I the person as per my Facebook profile or is He the person I aspire to be ?

In real life out of those 1000 friends how many do I talk to daily ? Do I even know the names of their children ? Do I look the same as in my profile pic or have I changed ? Is my educational qualification still the best in our neighborhood or has the neighbors son overtaken ME? Out of all the hobbies mentioned in my profile when was the last time I had time to go out and play , or practice photography or play guitar. There are so many questions to ponder upon.

Am I just the cluster of thoughts in my head ,

Am I the body in which I roam,

Am I the owner of things I gather ,

Or Am I someone's child , someone's brother Or someone's Father.

Am I lost in digital space ,

Am I the profile which I now hate ,

Am I living the life I wanted ,

Or have, I left it too late .

No, I'm not my mind ,

No, I'm not my body ,

No, I'm not my possessions,

No, I'm not just anybody .

No, I'm not my profile ,

No, I'm not your notification,

No, I'm not an email I'd ,

No, I'm not your possession .

I'm bright like the Sun ,

I'm soothing like the Moon ,

I'm colorful like the Rainbow ,

I'm color in this gloom

I'm not an Animal ,

I'm not a Robot ,

I'm not virtually present ,

I'm, my dear , A Human.

Let us enjoy being ourselves and not being our Facebook profiles.
