Homo sapiens have been on this Earth since 10000 years. They have spread across the length and breadth of this world on each continent . As a species there are many things that separate us from other animals be it language, ability to think and act , to co-operate , innovate etc but one ability stands out amongst others, STUPIDITY .  

Have you ever seen an ant being stupid? Have you ever seen and elephant do stupid things? Have you ever seen a dolphin make stupid decisions ? No because all the things they do an ingrained in their DNA.  

The fact that human beings have the ability to think has also made them prone to be Stupid. From an alien point of view we as a species must be the most stupid ones. 

For example which species make weapons of mass destruction for their own destruction? Why do we engage in wars and waste money when people don't have enough to eat ? Why do young children have to work when they should be in schools studying ? Why throughout our history there were famines where crores of people died ? 

Even today why are nations engaging in development of biochemical weapons which finally would lead to the decimation of humanity ? Why are there nuclear bombs? Why do nations have there defence budgets more than their budget on education , healthcare and environment combined ? These are very simple questions but with very complicated answers. 

But the most easy answer for all these and many more such questions is that we are stupid . In future it will not be the robots or AI who will enhilate humanity but it will be humans who would destroy humans. 

History has repeatedly shown us wherever Homo Sapiens went , the local flora and fauna was destroyed within centuries. The local inhabitants were enhilated . 

We as a species have created more destruction and devastation than any or all other species combined. And finally it seems we will turn on our selves . 

Out of all the qualities that humanity possess who would have thought STUPIDITY would finally triumph. Economic , industrial or technological developments cannot lead to us being less stupid. A gun is more dangerous especially when it's in the hands of a stupid person. Similarly technological advancements in the hands of stupid people will ruin themselves. 

What the solution then ? How can we be less stupid ? We need right people at right places . Not everyone is blessed with all the qualities. There are people who will be better at some things than the others . We need to devise systems where right people are working at right places. If we ensure this we can ensure that right decisions are being made .

From class monitors to neighborhood heads , from local administrators to national figures if we have right people at right places we will have a bright future
