If you wish to visit South Sikkim from Kolkata, during puja holidays taking at least 6 days in hand, I will here promote you a successful trip for 2 families having 3 adults each with this tour where each family spends around 43000/- INR. Touring Siliguri, Pelling, Namchi South Sikkim, and back to Siliguri a fruitful visit.
Estimate overall:-
Your railway ticket A/c from Kolkata to New Jalpaiguri to and fro for 6 members stands around= 14,200/-
From New Jalpaiguri to Siliguri by 2 autos a half an hour journey for 2 families takes 350/- each auto to and fro total expense 1400/- INR.
Then employ a tata sumo like vehicle for pick up from Siliguri and back to Siliguri the last day, but during Puja times, they charge you a total of 22,000/-INR.
Now comes the stay, the hotels. If you book hotel Suktara International at Siliguri, you will get free wi-fi and also take a two bed room, rooms and arrange to supply an extra mattress at each room they will charge you 4600/- for each room. This you book twice because when you are returning from Sikkim you again stay in the same hotel. So this total costing 9,200/-INR. This is one night's stay, each time.

Now your car will take you from Siliguri to Pelling, on the way you cross the river Teesta, here you get a chance of river rafting at the rafting spot. Book one raft with 6 members they will take you 9 kms on the river bed for 1 hours approx. Through the all ripples, they will manoeuvre you with their two trainers and charge you 5000/-INR. If you take photos and videos of the voyage that will take 1500/-INR. They will take the photos and videos and upload that in your android phone.

Then you reach Pelling. Stay full one night, take the morning breakfast and start your journey after sightseeing towards Namchi South Sikkim. If you stay at Jain Group Hotel Sonamchen. at Upper Pelling, near Old Helipd area, Pelling, Sikkim- 737113. They have all vegetarian food all the times. And will charge you 6200/-INR. for 6 guests 1 night, two rooms, but arrange for one mattress each at both rooms for your third member. From your hotel room you will enjoy this view of Kanchenjunga.
From Hotel Sonamchen Pelling.
Sightseeing on way to Namchi from Pelling shows you 4 points. Khecheodpalri lake where you feed the fishes , it is in the shape of the foot print of Lord Shiva, you wish something here it is fulfilled, so believed. Then the Kanchenjunga falls here you can do Zip lining it takes 100/- per person.
Then you go to Rimbi Orange Garden where you find oranges in the orange trees though small and green during the month of October. If you go down to Rimbi stream below you will get to enjoy local fruit wine 🍷 the stall people serve there. You also see Rimbi falls. Then the last point the Skywalk, where you see the whole valley and the view of Kanchenjunga very nicely.
The total entry tickets and parking at all points taken together charges you 1850/-INR approx.
Coolie,Taxi, auto,car from home to station will take approx. 1700/-INR.
Then you reach Namchi, if you stay at Cherry 🍒 Resort Temi Tea Garden, South Sikkim- 737126. Namchi. For 2 nights stay. They will provide you with 2 rooms , with 3 beds each and charge you 19600/-INR altogether. They have super deluxe rooms with complimentary breakfast. The next day you have your break fast and go for the sightseeing.
Your points are 1. Samdruptse Guru Padmasambhaba statue. 2. Buddha Park. 3. Sai Mandir. 4. Siddeswar Dham or Char Dham. And lastly you can visit the 5. Temi Tea Garden and if you get the chance and the production goes on you can visit the Temi Tea Factory it takes half an hour only, and 100/- for each member.
