Thumbelina

Introduction:

She watered it carefully, and to her surprise, a beautiful flower bloomed. When the flower opened, a tiny girl, no bigger than a thumb, appeared inside! The woman named her Thumbelina.

Thumbelina was tiny but full of courage and curiosity. She lived happily with the kind woman, but one day, a big, ugly toad hopped into the house. The toad wanted Thumbelina to marry her son, a toad prince. She grabbed Thumbelina and took her to a damp, dark pond.

Thumbelina was sad and scared, but she was also very brave. She decided to find a way to escape. She sang a beautiful song, and her sweet voice attracted friendly fish, birds, and insects. They all came to help her. The fish carried her to the shore, the birds flew her away from the pond, and the insects helped guide her through the forest.

As Thumbelina continued her journey, she met a kind butterfly who offered her a ride to a sunny flower meadow. There, Thumbelina felt happy and safe. She made friends with the meadow creatures and lived peacefully for a while.

One day, while exploring the meadow, Thumbelina met a charming prince who was also tiny like her. They instantly liked each other and soon discovered they had much in common. The prince was kind and brave, just like Thumbelina.

Thumbelina and the prince fell in love and decided to get married. They lived in a beautiful tiny palace made of flowers and leaves, surrounded by their friends from the meadow. They were very happy together and never had to worry about toads or other dangers again.

Thumbelina’s tiny heart was full of joy, and she realized that even though she was small, her bravery and kindness made her bigger than she ever imagined.
