DO EXAM RESULTS ACTUALLY DETERMINE STUDENTS KNOWLEDGE?
Our society's failure to recognise the variety of interests, skills, and goals that children have outside of academics places this invisible strain and tension on their heads, making it such that they rarely bother to enjoy their learning.
Exams just require students to write and present the material they have learned in class; they do not address how a student will use that information in the real world.
When it comes to test-related material, students only remember it for a little period of time before moving on to learning new material for the next exam. As a result, they are unable to apply what they have learned.
Furthermore,Exams are the only way to determine whether a student is prepared for the next level of learning. It will be quite difficult to understand the abilities and knowledge that a student has acquired if assessments are not based on the concepts from a book.
In a nutshell we need to understand the role of exams and accept the results to live a healthy and happy life
So don't stress yourself or your parents. I hope this was useful, and all the best to those who wrote their exams and are waiting for the results!!
