When we pronounce this word ‘FEMINISM’ , some people consider it as a movement against opposite gender or some consider it as a tool for gaining sympathy.. This is the harsh reality of our society. Mens have always dominated the opposite gender and consider them to be the weakest gender , this kind of behavior is going on from centuries but now when womens have prove themselves in every field and wanted to be treated equally…they (opposite gender   consider it as a rebel .. I know that not everyone is same and not everyone things like this, but this is based on the varies surveys conducted by varies universities. But here i want to educate many youngsters about the actual meaning of feminism and why it is necessary. So here, 
What is meant by feminism? 
It is  belief that women should have the same rights and opportunities as men..

Okay so what is wrong with this.. We only wanted to be treated equally and  want Equal opportunity... What's wrong with this, i mean we are also same capable as mens .. So why not? 
What is need of feminism? 
Subjects were chosen to demonstrate the importance of feminism to individuals from different genders, races, sexual orientations and backgrounds, reflecting the students' beliefs that "'typical feminists' don't exist" and that feminism is important for everyone, not just women.

Why their is a need of feminism? 
Here are several more examples why we need feminism: Blatant sexism permeates economic, social and economic life. ... Women do not need to be told how to live their life. We need to get rid of hypocrisy and double standards when talking about women

We as a  grown up and capable women we  only wanted to live our life without any restriction ,freedom of doing any thing of our choice ,wanted to be treated equally and dont wanted to be dependent on any gender for our chores.. 
Why feminism is important? 
Feminism allows equal opportunities for both sexes. Gender roles (a set of conforming rules that say how a person should behave based on their gender) can be harmful to both men and women. ... It is also unfair to place pressure on boys to fulfil certain roles that are based on their gender.
Our opinion
Feminism is not a movement against any gender but it is movement for equality.. For equal rights even today in 21th century we have to fight , this is such a disgusting thing. 
Why we need feminism in india? 
It is the pursuit of women's rights within the society of India. Like their feminist counterparts all over the world, feminists in India seek gender equality: the right to work for equal wages, the right to equal access to health and education, and equal political rights.

India is a land where females are considered as a idol.. But after all this females are considered to be the lower gender on indian society and they are treated like a dominion gender . .. This is a harshest reality of indian society... I believe india require feminism the most

Conclusion:-
The feminist voices of the Renaissance never coalesced into a coherent philosophy or movement. This happened only with the Enlightenment, when women began to demand that the new reformist rhetoric about liberty, equality, and natural rights be applied to both sexes.
