self improvement consists of activities that build human capital , facilitate employability, and enhance quality of life and the realizatin of dreams and aspirations .personal development may take place over the course of an individual entire lifespan and it is limited to one stage of a person life.It can include official and inforaml actions for counselor, manager, coach,or mentor, and it is not takes place in the context of instiutions , it refers to assessment systems offered to support positive adult development at the individual level in organisations .it is not to be confused with consciousness in the sense of qualia.while consciousness is being aware of is the recognisation of that awareness

When we are faced with difficult times as we are now with the effects of a worldwide pandemic, it is easy to get discouraged and lose hope.  Hope is a vital component of human existence, and it is needed to find happiness and peace during times that might otherwise lead us to be discouraged.  As Andrew Carnegie so clearly pointed out, setting a goal can keep your thoughts focused, direct your energy, and inspire the hope that is needed to move through and beyond a moment of despair.

Have you ever wondered why some people are so good at fulfilling their dreams and living a life of purpose What is their "secret sauce" for success?

Some people would say that all you need to do is work hard to achieve what you want in life. Some people think it's about who you know or what you have.  Yet others feel there are those born with access and that they are given all the breaks in life.  The truth is, statistics demonstrate that those who create goals and have a regular and consistent goal-setting process are much more likely to achieve their life’s dreams.

Regardless of how hard you work, if you are aiming for the wrong dream, then all that effort will only get you to the wrong destination faster, and that would be extremely disappointing.

Despite connections, you still have to continuously demonstrate to everyone that you were worthy of receiving the opportunity in the first place.  Eventually, proving your worth to others becomes exhausting.

However, there is a formula for turning your dreams into reality, and it isn't dependent on who you know or proving yourself.  The formula is:

goals + commitment = dreams come true

By having clear goals, you become aware of precisely what you want to achieve and how to go about doing it. You are able to more accurately assess and measure your ability to accomplish the goals and most importantly, you have a plan that can guide you along the way and keep you on track.

The best thing might be to create a literal or mental note of it and wait for a better-timed moment to talk about certain things. 3 follow-up questions to help you here: Am I the right person to say this? Is this the right time to say it? Is this the right place to say it? Walk through these and you’ll be walking in far more wisdom than those who are too eager to say what they want to say when they want to say it.

This one takes a lot of discernment. The question of necessity is a question of weightiness or importance. This is not to say that we disregard saying what we are feeling or even our personal preferences. Rather, this is about taking into account the relational capital we have with someone. Sharing a personal preference in how your wishes could be better respected or how the relationship could be improved will likely be well received if talking to a friend of 5+ years. However, there are times we might need to bite our tongue and even forfeit certain personal preferences in a new or fragile relationship, whether that be with a friend or even a colleague. When you consider the relational capital you have with the person, you’ll better determine the necessity of what needs to be said.

One of the beautiful things about Tyler Durden in Fight Club is that he seems to understand the implicit vanity and self-absorption that comes with the desire to improve oneself. Now, before we go all Fight Club, start punching each other in basements, and blowing up bank buildings, I do believe that there is an important role for self-improvement and the millions of podcasts, books, seminars, and articles that you obsessively consume. There is hope for you, I promise.
