Pillars Of Self-confidence, Believe In Yourself

Hey everyone!!

I hope all of you are great. Today's topic is self-confidence. What is self confidence and what are the activities you should do to build more self confidence?

Drop-Stop- Observe.

Whatever you are doing-drop it. Sit silently and observe yourself. We are so much influenced by the other people in our lives that we take things personally. Remember if it is not the personal influence- remove that. Because we cannot make the defination of others, ours defination. We only should take charge of us. Start believing in yourself, Magic will start happening. Take control on yourself and in your emotions.

Observe yourself- Know your likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses.

Think and understand-  whether these likes are true? Are these strengths and weaknesses true?

Accept yourself- once it is correct, accept it. Yes I don't like this. It's fine.or I don't like this. It is perfectly okay. It's your life. Work on yourself and improve on yourself.

You don't need any others validation to be happy.

Don't think - if I will be happy then only I will be accepted and happy. Remember nobody is born perfect.

Be Authentic- Be real. If you don't like something sitting in the group, it's fine. Say it. Give voice to your opinion.

Celebrate your Accomplishments - If you have achieved any goal, whether it is small- celebrate it. Always value yourself for whatever you have done.

Try and be more emphatic- Always try to understand others instead of passing your judgements.

Make your communication very effective- Make yourself so stable that others value you, respect your talk, love to listen to you.

Take up the challenges- Overcome your fear, and take up the challenges. For eg- if you are afraid of dog- take up a challenge that today I will not run from that dog. I will face him. This will build your self confidence. So small tiny steps towards your fear will boost your confidence.

Resilience- If you fail in anything- try to do it second time with other approach. Try with other method. Remember- Your don't have to quit, you have to try and try.

And there are few activities that you can do to build or sharp your self confidence-

  • Walk Tall- The confident you feel, show it in your walk. Make sure your shoulders are straight. Your neck is straight. You smile and always look in the people's eye. Maintain healthy good eye contact.
  • Create a small task to be accomplished- Daily create tasks for yourself, give challenges to yourself. It will give you instant boost.
  • Speak slowly- Don't be in hurry. Speak slowly, clearly and distinctively.
  • Map your progress-  whatever you are doing, make growth chart and start mapping. When you will see your growth chart, you will feel more confident.
  • Change one small habit daily- Or incorporate any good habit in yourself.
  • Declutter your personal space- It will give you structure in your thought process.
  • Write down things you are grateful for-  when you will read it. It will zeal your self confidence.
  • Exercise and keep yourself healthy- It will bring more power and confidence in you.

Remember - Always try to give others compliments. Random acts of compliments go along way. Passes smile and say something nice to somebody. Make somebody happy and make someone's day. Not only that person will feel happy even you will feel happy the whole day.

  • Sweating the small stuff will take you a long way. Getting into right behaviour. Getting into making others smile and spreading positive vibes. This all will take you to the another level and will exhibit into your personality.

So all these were the qualities and activities, to be more self confident. I hope this session will be useful to you. If so then-

Do #like #share and #comment.

Thankyou!!
