Hello guys! The topic i am going to discuss is going to get many critics i think but we need to think about in many prospectives and this gonna be inconsideration to our country India.

Our Indian country is unique and it has its own cultural insights but on which language ,the children's education must be,  why haven't been given much thought about it or have they ?,i never really quite understand that.

Why English is considered as a major medium of communication for education out of 19500 languages spoken (source from internet) in India ,where none of them in English? Why not other languages spoken in india are given much importance as English? Why speaking English as considered as some elite standards ? Why some people are even ashamed to speak their mother tongue in their own  country. Why even we need to be specialised in some other language other than our own if not interested?

Maybe it make sense as British ruled our country for over 100 years ( from 1858 - 1947).we got our independence but aren't we still in their influence ,as we have taken their language as our own and many much more..

I am not saying that you shouldn't speak or write other languages than their own because english have given us a pathway to enter globally as it considered as universal language ,all i am saying why haven't our education is also in our own language because of not having that, now majority of children even elders are not comfortable to read or write in their own mother tongue .except some public schools, all private schools offers education with first preference as english.we need to really thing about that.

Education is such a important element in our lives,but are we really educating ourselves?

Beacuse Research tells that, learning in mother tongue helps a child develop their critical thinking and literacy skills as they can adopt better understanding of the curriculum. Moreover,the skills that children learnt in their mother tongue do not have to be re-taught when the child tranfers it to a second language.Then why are we studying it some other language that is totally different from ours? Is it the reason children study for one minute and forgets the same the next minute?

What can we do ? A Trillion Dollar question? Honestly guys ,I have thought more about it because majority of people who are afraid to speak to crowd are not on fear of people but on fear of communicating in other language.you may ask me , we are studying english from our younger age ,why not get comforatble around it? .What i would say is that,eventhough we are familiar with language it lack some kind of emotion to me (the difference is saying “mom” and “Amma”( tamil word))

Only solution would changing our entire education system but that's not going to happen in a short run or in near future.All i am saying is that first get comfortable around your mother language later the other which the country prefers, never neglect your own because that's what define you own culture and all

( for your record , the language which i am prefering to communicate with you guys is also english because that become more comfortable to me than tamil, see how we have changed without even really thinking about it..)
