Techniques To Beat Or Over-come Anxiety

Hola mi amigos!!! Let me share you quick techniques to deal with or beat anxieties.. Talking about anxiety, I am a person who tends to be more anxious about things..sometimes even thoughts make me anxious.When anxiety arises, nervousness fogs my brain making me to lose focus, confidence..So I thought of sharing some techniques which helped me personally to overcome anxiety.. Also note that, anxiety is very common and it is Okay to get anxious sometimes..Just know few tricks, so that it may help if needed..

One of the commonest symptom you experience while being or getting anxious is that, you can literally feel your heart beats pounding instead of beating calmly in pace..Sometimes it feels as if your heart needs to jump out from your body by means of fast and furious heart beats..

When mind loses its sight of the present moment and gets caught in irrelevant thinking patterns, fears, or worries, thats when anxiety arises.. Shifting focus back to the present, staying calm and centered is the key to overcome anxiety. 

Reading on anxiety, helped me to understand the techniques to overcome them.. The following are the techniques or ways by means of which i just try to stay focussed, or tries to shift my focus to something better and positive..

  1. Watching videos or movies, which makes to feel good..( I watch some adventure videos that i have saved earlier, which i would like to try in future).
  2. Listening and dancing to favourite songs ( My life-saving song is kajra re).
  3. Filling room with pleasing aroma like perfumes, scented candles..
  4. Having a hot lemon tea with an extra tsp of sugar helps me a lott..
  5. Another techniques which learnt through, also helped me which is,

The 5-4-3-2-1 technique

In this techniques, we use oir senses to notice things around us..like,

….Acknowledging  five things that we can see around us.
….Naming four things we can touch by looking around us.
….Naming three things we can hear in the place where we are. 
….Naming two things we can smell from where we are.
….Naming one thing we can or want to  taste.

This technique helps us to make a conscious effort to take note of the little things around us that we otherwise fail to notice by not paying attention to.
