People say love is blind. That it can't see imperfections, flaws and wounds or the rotten parts, and that it's how it accepts you as you are.

That is not love.

People say you fall in love. That to be in love means to be standing at the edge of the cliff, not knowing how deep the valley is, and yet taking the jump.

That is not love.

People say love wins all. As if love were a king followed by an army of soldiers on horses, who would ride you off your troubles and make everything yours, their own. 

That is not love!

Let me tell you what love is.

Love is not blind, love can see it. The patches, the rips, the tears, it has X-ray vision and it can see everything that you are, and that is how they will construct you back together part by part.

You do not fall in love, but in love you walk freely. Holding each other's hand, taking a stand for each other, belonging to yourself, like you belong to them.

Love does not wins for love is frail, timid and kind. It will sit and wait for you till eternity if you ask it to, because before anything else, love respects each other.

Love is not a imprisonment built to capture your heart, love was meant to tear you apart but only so that they can see, your very being, and still want to give you their all.

Love is not compromise, love is not acceptance, love is not adaptability. Love is just a feeling of happiness and simplicity.

Love is an intense feeling which can only be felt. It's that feeling that motivates you to be better. Love is trust. Love is being able to find happiness in your loved one's happiness.

Love is an incomprehensible, encrypted feeling which can only be comprehensed, decrypted by those who are in it.

Love is not just the romantic one, but love for parents, children, friends, country, god and so on.

Love doesn't change or mould himself, into anything else. For love already knows he is perfect, and for him, so are you.

Be together, share your happiness and sorrows, understand each other, provide space to each other and always be there for each other in need. It will strengthen you and helps you grow in the way to succeed.
