An Introvert To An Ambivert

Dear ambiverts, would you please, very kindly, asking for a friend, lend me your guidance. Tell me your experiences and teach me your skills. Show me the path to enlightenment or just you know, whatever.

Notice my very lame attempt at being breezy. Yes I know I can't say I am being breezy because then it's not breezy but what do you expect from someone whose social skills depend completely on what she watches on television or reads in a book or watches closely as someone else socializes in front of her. It might be called a keen observer, but I am sure of that you saw me, you would call it “watching creeply”.

Also this is very specific to me. I have zero social skills like none, nada. You will crack a crazy joke at me and I will look at you all awkwardly even if I find that joke very funny but I have absolutely no idea how to react to that. Should I smile? Should I laugh? Should it nod?or what else. Don't know.

And I am not kidding, I don't know if they have a word for me. I am someone who would not speak if not explicitly spoken to. And that's not an introvert thing. So here I am begging you to answer my next question. Have you ever thought of writing a book? You know just tips and tricks, like where exactly do you place your hands when you are standing in a group of people and not holding anything. Where?  Or when someone is trying to have a conversation with you while you are trying to eat.

I mean I don't mind sending you an extensive questionnaire, but riddle me this - what do you do when you are trying to relax and have a good time but this one guy just won't stop asking you to dance?  All  I want are answers, all I have are questions. hoping for a positive response, and a response on how to respond to that, and so on and so forth, you get the gist.

P S. Or may be like wand movements if that would help. At this point I am open to anything! So are you an ambivert? What is your thought process about being an ambivert.

Thank you for reading! See you soon in my next blog, till then bye bye. Have a nice day!
