Today the topic on which I will be talking is stress.Though we don't give it much importance cause it happens to almost everyone and we don't put this under the category of a mental health problem so we just take it lightly assuming that,"What harm can stress do to us?".

Stress can  be good or bad.It just depends on how we look at a particular situation or problem.Taking stress for your exams,tests,interviews,etc is alright but then stress coming from relationships,families or any other element of your life which is acting as a hindrance in your life can be considered as bad.Working constantly and not taking enough rest can also make you stressful.There are certain financial problems which also causes a person to take more stress.If suppose your salary isn't enough to feed your family you may get tensed because of that.

Mostly whenever a person feels sad or looks depressed people around them think that this person is going through a break-up which of course isn't true in most of the cases.There are many kids who fear about their future and get stressed about it which doesn't help in anyway.Stress also comes from the societies baseless expectations which they have from us and if we don't fulfill that criteria we are considered as rebels.Stress can also come from work irrespective of your field or profession.It's upto us how we control our stress.

The one thing which I have heard from one of my acquaintances is that their life is too stressful so they have started drinking and smoking.There are many people who take support of drugs,alcohol,smoking,etc.It's just like a coping mechanism for them which just doesn't work for long.It is life threatening and can also put you into more stress and depression.I don't judge people who drink or smoke but I just feel that it is harmful for their life and if they don't stop now they have to bear heavy consequences in the future.

Some ways through which you can avoid or cure your stress is by practicing healthy lifestyle.Exercising regularly at least for 30 minutes will release dopamine and endorphins in your body which will make you feel cheerful.Another way of dealing with stress is by listening to your favorite playlist,it's like the best possible way to improve anyone's bad mood.Another thing which I will recommend everyone is to meditate at least for 10 to 15 minutes,this is the best way to calm your mind.In this way you won't feel stressed in tough situations.I hope you might have found this useful.Do Read,Like,Comment and Share your thoughts regarding my blog in the comments section.
